Hole 5
Not a long hole but a challenging tee shot that requires players to find the fairway at all costs. Most players will focus on finding the short grass at the base of the hill, while longer hitters may choose to take on the 230-metre carry to the top of the hill in order to go for the green in two. The vista from the top of the hill is famous among the golfing community, with the green located down near the water’s edge. The fairway meanders further right than most players realise and the green is protected with bunkers either side and two pot bunkers short left. This is a hole that will stick in the memory bank long after the round is finished.
